In returning to their indie/DIY roots, Boston’s most swoonable sons recapture their favored familiarity. Chris Trapper’s lyrical poems of suburban losers (“Small Town Geek,” “Frathouse Joe”) still come up winners and the laid back rhythms of drummer Dan MacMillan and bassist Dan McLoughlin keep the tunes pushing ahead.
