That is why Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) administrator Grace Danziger was so excited to find support for her latest car purchase from Union Plus.
“I have been receiving Union Plus benefit emails for quite some time,” Danziger recalls. “The auto-buying program in several of the emails caught my eye.”As National Director of Governance for SAG-AFTRA, Danziger supports a union that includes approximately 160,000 actors, broadcast journalists, dancers, singers, stunt performers and other media professionals.
“I’m involved in meetings after business hours, often prep work before business hours, and occasionally meetings held offsite,” Danziger explains, “so a car is very important to my work.” When the lease on her previous car neared its end, Danziger sprang into action.
“My schedule changes almost daily,” Danziger notes. “That’s also why a plug-in hybrid was important for environmental and economic concerns.”
In addition to saving the environment, Danziger and her husband Marc wanted to save money.

Before serving SAG-AFTRA, Danziger was Director of Governance and Corporate Affairs for the Los Angeles County Bar Association. While supporting attorneys and legal professionals, she also supported provided legal services to others in the community.
