My daughters, Shira and Ava, have been knitting scarves for people in need for three years. Among the organizations to which they donate are Jewish Family & Children’s Services and The Pine Street Inn.
Their arm-knit scarves can be purchased at Elissa’s Creative Warehouse in Needham, MA for $15 each (with proceeds going to charity), or you can pay for one to be donated to someone in need for $10 each.
Either way, you will make someone feel warm and happy!
The girls were recently interviewed by Emmy-winning journalist Erika Tarantal from WCVB TV and the piece is scheduled to air soon.
Donations can also be made to https://www.gofundme.com/shira039s-scarves.
